Description of the product
AgriStick is a smart agro-meteorological device that has 3 temperature sensors integrated to measure air and soil temperature. In combination with a narrowband (NB-IoT) network, it transmits the results of all these measurements to a mobile application. Built-in battery, supported by an intelligent control system, guarantees a long service life with minimal maintenance and autonomous operation in urban and rural areas.
Deployment and activation process
The AgriStick is delivered to the customer in an inactive state, which reduces battery consumption during transportation and storage. The device is easy to install and can be set up in various locations.
Activating a device is very simple using an Android or iOS mobile device via a QR code. By scanning the QR code on the SIM IoT label, the customer is guided step-by-step through the device activation process. It includes downloading the application, user registration, assigning the device and activating it.
Each device can be supplied with a pre-installed SIM card or it can be installed by the customer's local network operator.
Measurements
The AgriStick can measure the temperature at 3 different heights which the user can determine himself, for example -20/-5/95 [cm].
The first number stands for the distance of the temperature sensor below ground level, the second number for the distance of the temperature sensor at ground level and the third number for the distance of the temperature sensor above ground level. The distance is given in centimeters. Other examples can be -15/0/100 [cm] and -10/5/105 [cm].
Application
- Temperature measurement in the field
- Simultaneous measurement of soil and air parameters
- Measurement of industrial sensors
- Measurement of soil (moisture, fertility, pH value, electrical conductivity and salt content), leaf wetness, humidity, precipitation
Mobile application - Spotium
The Spotium mobile application in combination with the AgriStick and NB-IoT technology offers a complete solution for customer needs.
It is available for Android and iOS operating systems (Google Play and Apple Store).
Using the application, customers can monitor the collected data and data and locations of the assigned devices, receive notifications and access reports on measured parameters.
All important and desired data is displayed graphically, and all sensors are displayed on the user interface with the help of maps.
