Crop-Sensor

The sensor is certified by AEF ISOBUS and works with organic as well as inorganic fertilizer.

The Crop Sensor from Claas is mounted in front of tractors and has two mounting adapters, a 3-point adapter for front hydraulics and a universal adapter for common front weights. The sensor can be operated regardless of the time of day or night. It has a high measuring frequency, which allows multiple measurements of the single plant and can be used independent of the variety. You get information about the biomass and nitrogen index of your plants.

In addition to a simple mapping mode, the 1 or the 2 point as well as the AUTO mode can be selected. In this way, either a specific nitrogen quantity can be specified, desired quantities can be defined area-specifically or automatic recommendations can be generated. Alternatively, the ISARIA expert fertilizer system can be operated. Here, sensor-based application takes place without manual calibration. The system currently works with winter wheat, based on 20 years of research by the Technical University of Munich.
