MagicTrap - the digital yellow tray for rapeseedThe MagicTrap has a high-resolution camera that takes photos of the contents of the gel bowl at regular intervals and sends them by mobile phone. The images are automatically analyzed and the results are then made available in the MagicScout app on your smartphone.
Yellow trays have been around for many years. But the MagicTrap is unique. Several thousand hours have gone into its development to find the perfect design and to make it as robust as possible against the elements. Once set up, it functions reliably and with maximum self-sufficiency. With the MagicTrap, you are always aware of the current pest pressure in your field from anywhere. This allows you to react more quickly in the event of an infestation, leaving you more time for other tasks.

Self-sufficient

The energy demand is 100% covered by solar energy and stored in the battery. For the first use in each season, the battery should be fully charged once. After that, this is no longer necessary. The energy demand of the MagicTrap is primarily covered by the solar panel, which also charges the integrated battery. Even in adverse weather conditions with little sunlight, the battery provides sufficient energy for up to seven days. However, if the battery shows a low charge level, it can also be charged via a USB-C cable.
