With NEXT Farming soil samples, you can professionally check and optimize the nutrient supply of your soil. The soil analysis for main nutrients such as pH value, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium is the basis for farm-specific and economical fertilization.

With well-planned, reliable and DGPS-supported sampling, you can ensure representative soil samples. The subsequent analysis of the soil samples in an accredited laboratory reliably shows whether and where within the farmland the nutrient supply to the plants is at risk.

How it works

From planning to results analysis - your soil samples in just a few steps:

1. Planning in the software based on specifications, TalkingFields maps and ground differences
2. Sampling in the field with fully automated sampling technology
3. Soil samples are sent in and tested in an accredited laboratory - Testing according to specified VDLUFA methods for pH value, phosphorus (P), potassium (K), magnesium (Mg) and, if necessary, other nutrients such as lime, humus or trace elements
4. Evaluation of results as nutrient maps and as a shape - Free visualization of the results in NEXT FarmingLive. The software enables a site-specific fertilizer requirement calculation and fertilizer recommendation
5. Optional further analyses possible (KAK, humus, trace elements, etc.)

NEXT offers soil samples for basic nutrients, basic nutrients + trace elements and additional nutrients

• - Scope of services: Travel and working time of the driver, DGPS-supported sampling according to country-specific regulations for arable land and grassland
• - Determination of pH value, phosphorus (P), potassium (K) and magnesium (Mg)
• - Data preparation for NEXT Farming or data output as a shape file
• - Results folder with nutrient maps, field evaluations and fertilizer planning
• - Analyses are carried out using specified VDLUFA methods

Basic nutrients and trace elements

• - Determination of the trace elements copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), boron (B), sodium (Na)
• - Analyses are carried out using specified VDLUFA methods

Additional nutrients

• - Additional analyses can be booked for: Calcium content (Ca), C/N ratio, free lime, iron (Fe), sulphur (S), potash fixation, soil type

• - Determination of the lime requirement by analyzing the Ca value
• - Classification of the contents into supply levels A to E
• - Data preparation for NEXT Farming OFFICE LW and as a shape file
• - Fertilizer recommendation for each crop type from the Soil Health Service incl. N and P requirement determination according to DüV
• Note: Registration deadline for rehearsals until November 15 of the previous year
