KRONE GPS Guidance - the Krone Guidance System
KRONE GPS Guidance is an automatic steering system specially designed to meet the needs of KRONE self-propelled harvesters. By using the correction signals received via GPS receiver, the self-propelled harvesters can drive over the area to be harvested true to track and with minimal overcut. This technology allows for increased impact and efficiency, while the operator benefits from a high level of comfort and fatigue-free operation. Optionally, the self-propelled harvesters can also be pre-equipped for ISOBUS steering systems from various manufacturers.
All advantages at a glance
- Use of the full working width - Increased impact force - Increased efficiency - Maximum operator comfort
Maximum utilization of the working width
The KRONE GPS Guidance steering system enables the BiG M to make maximum use of the working width. This increases the impact force and reduces diesel costs. In addition, the number of passes is reduced to a minimum.
KRONE GPS Guidance on the BiG X
The BiG X can be conveniently and safely controlled by autopilot with KRONE GPS Guidance. The use of GPS Guidance is particularly useful when harvesting whole crop silage, as the driver can concentrate fully on the work processes in the chopping chain.
Operation via CCI terminals
The KRONE GPS Guidance can be operated either via the CCI 800 or CCI 1200 terminal. You can choose between the EGNOS correction signal with about +-20 cm accuracy and the RTK correction signal with about +-2 cm accuracy.
