The KRONE NIR Control dual Sensor is a near-infrared spectroscopy sensor capable of automatically detecting the ingredients of forage and slurry. It can be used on both forage harvesters and slurry drums, regardless of the manufacturer. The recorded data enables precise fertilizer application according to the yield potential of the area and increases fertilizer efficiency.

The KRONE NIR Control dual sensor can be used not only on the forage harvester, but also on the slurry tanker. By analyzing the ingredients, it is possible to apply organic fertilizers more efficiently based on an application map.

By recording the material properties, the BiG X and BiG Pack can automatically add silage additives and thus use them more efficiently. This results in cost savings and improved quality of the harvested forage.
Quality of the crop in view
The moisture measuring device in the KRONE BiG Pack continuously informs the driver about the properties of the crop. The data can be read on the monitor in the tractor cab and an automatic warning is given if a preset threshold is exceeded. In combination with a metering system, silage additive can be metered depending on the bale moisture.
