NEXT Farming Basic 2

A professional weather station that collects the most important weather data.

Basic technology records all important weather data independently and transmits them using modern transmission technology. The locally measured data serve as the basis for calculating further parameters, such as leaf moisture. Collected data can be retrieved via the NEXT MobileWetter app, the NEXT weather portal or directly via the NEXT Beat Index Office.

All NEXT weather stations operate completely self-sufficiently.

The stations can be placed freely in fields, meadows and fields. Data transmission to the server takes place in real time via mobile radio (3G & 4G), NarrowBand IoT or LoRaWAN. Based on the collected data, precise models for diseases and pests are calculated. The weather forecast continuously improves by learning from the collected data.
