Poseidon - portable floor sensors

The Poseidon WET sensor can be used in any soil and substrate type. The measurement principle is based on 15 MHz TDR capacitance sensing. The sensor has a flexible measurement depth of up to 2 meters. The FireFly platform node should be connected via the connection cable and handles the data transmission. Measurements for air temperature (non-vented), relative humidity (non-vented), PAR light, or GPS can also be added on the connected FireFly platform sensor node (see FireFly FF02 specifications for details). Soil / substrate specific calibration is required for volumetric water content display.
