Topcon CropSpec

The CropSpec from TopCon

CropSpec was developed by Topcon together with Yara. Combined with Topcon's application controllers, it can be used to control variability, monitor crop on the fly, and generate analysis data for application maps. CropSpec is compatible with the following Topcon consoles: X25, X30 and X35.

Measure and store: Data is obtained via measurement and stored for analysis and creation of application maps. When the crop is scanned, a map is created that reflects the N content and shows over- and undersupplied areas. This information is used to create an application map for machines with variable rate control, which can be implemented later or immediately.

User-defined quantity control: With a simple two-point calibration, you can set the upper and lower limits and then perform the actual mobile application by averaging in the field. You can also set the target quantity yourself.

You can also subscribe to optional Yara software, which converts sensor readings into optimized site-specific fertilizer rates using crop-specific algorithms.
