Nitrogen sensors

An N-sensor (nitrogen sensor) is a sensor used to measure the concentration of nitrogen in the soil or plants. Nitrogen is an important nutrient for plants and its concentration in soil and plants can provide information about how well plants are supplied with nutrients and whether there are signs of nitrogen deficiency or excess. N sensors usually work on the basis of spectroscopic methods that measure the absorption of light by plants or soil to determine nitrogen concentration.
